Pete Doherty is making waves in 2025 with multiple exciting projects. The Libertines frontman is set to headline a special Spotlight Show at The Great Escape festival on Wednesday, May 14, performing alongside Warmduscher and Trampolene.

Beyond the festival, Doherty is launching an independent fanzine called On Strap in January, which he describes as part of "The People's Front Of Analogia." The publication will feature a PO Box for contributors to send reviews, cartoons, and crossword puzzles and will be sold at The Libertines' European shows.

In a recent NME interview, Doherty expressed his passion for supporting emerging artists through his independent record label, Strap Originals. "Now I can have more of an influence in giving someone a real platform," he explained, highlighting his commitment to nurturing new musical talent.

For a radio station playing hits from the peak Libertines decade, it has to be Greatest Hits of the 2000s on the YouRadio platform.
